WhereEach child is unique and special, and approaches learning in a way best suited to him/herself. Being aware of your child’s learning styles can reduce homework battles and strengthen parent-child relationships. In this workshop, you will learn how do you identify your child’s learning styles and what you can do as parents to help your child be a better learner!
About the Speaker – Mr Bernard McKenzie
Mr Bernard Mackenzie (Benz) had a strong calling to work with At-Risk Youths. Benz graduated with a B.Soc.Sc (Applied Psychology), Diploma in Holistic School Counselling and M.Soc.Sc (Professional Counselling) after his service with the elite unit of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Commandos. Benz has worked in MOE as a Full-Time School Counsellor. Being a former At-Risk-Student himself, Benz understands the psyche of at risk youths. Currently Benz is doing clinical supervision for aspiring counsellors. He is also a Tutor with UniSIM, lecturing in the area of counselling.
